This is a scholarship/ sponsorship programme aimed at identifying brilliant students that cannot afford to support themselves to school. We also rehabilitate existing schools in need of repair and build new schools in vulnerable communities.

Education cannot be overemphasized neither should it be overlooked. At MGF we understand that no Ummah can develop if its members are uneducated. That is why our Brighter Future program is very important us.

Nuruddeen Islamee Scholars

Over the last ten years, we have selected promising students who would have otherwise been taken out of school due to their parents inability to pay their school fees and other expenses.

The students in this scholarship category understand that they need to keep their grades above a certain level in order for them to remain eligible. In most cases, students we enrol remain dedicated and committed to learning all the way to their school leaving examinations (JAMB, WAEC, NECO).

So far, MGF, has been instrumental in ensuring 15 students from poor backgrounds have attained Primary and Secondary education, 5 of which have recently completed their secondary education.

Husna Academy Collaboration

We have partnered with a school in Kaduna State named Husna Academy which caters for children from poor or low income families and gives them the opportunity to learn from highly skilled professionals in order to break the cycle and become successful contributing members of the society.

Each term, we pay for 40 students to attend school.

HDNL

We support this organization by paying teachers’ salaries sometimes. Unfortunately we are not able to do it always because the funds are not readily available all the time. We are working on changing this so that the teachers will worry less about their income and focus more on impacting students with the best educational experiences.

Sadaqatul Jariah

Another exercise under the Brighter Future program is construction. We use our voice to help raise funds for building schools that will teach both secular and Islamic knowledge. We believe that in order to truly free a child from the harsh cycle of social class, he/she must be equipped with knowledge from both worlds.

Through a lot of hard work, and determination to make a difference, we’ve successfully completed a four classroom block in Kadage Community, Kaduna and another four classroom block at Bau Akko settlement located at the outskirts of Abuja. Before the year runs out, we will in shaa Allah have completed another 4 classroom block in Kobin Sarki, Asokoro Extension, Abuja.
